Job summary

Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Scottsdale is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Outpatient Infusion Oncology. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality cancer care in a state‑of‑the‑art setting, with a 6:30am–3:30pm schedule, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
• Professional certification or oncology nursing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for oncology patients in outpatient infusion.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based treatment.
• Document care plans and patient responses in medical records.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff as needed.
• Promote quality and safety through adherence to standards and policies.
• Participate in ongoing unit and facility improvement efforts.
• Coordinate care across departments and ensure smooth patient flow.
• Engage in precepting and training of new team members where appropriate.
