Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver nursing interventions for oncology patients.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and learning needs of patients and families.
• Provide cancer/treatment specific education to patients and families.
• Administer chemotherapy and IV meds as prescribed.
• Document observations and actions in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with care team regarding patient status and treatment needs.
• Perform telephone triage to assess urgency and routes for follow-up.
