Job summary

Memorial Regional Health in Colorado is seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion Nurse to administer IV and oral chemotherapy, monitor patients, and assess needs. You will document comprehensive patient assessments and manage IV access including central lines within scope of practice.

The role requires ACLS/BLS, an active RN license, and oncology infusion experience. You will educate patients and coordinate with the oncology care team to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Oncology nursing experience and chemotherapy infusion preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or obtained before start date.
• Oncology card within 90 days of hire must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Infusion-based IV and oral therapy, including chemotherapy.
• Monitors patients receiving IV infusions, including pre-infusion triage.
• Reviews patient labs for appropriateness of therapy.
• Assess and document full patient assessment.
• Start IVs, access ports, and manage central lines within scope of practice.
• Assess reactions and side effects of infusions; provide education and care plans.
• Coordinate referrals and continuity of care with oncology team.
