Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a registered nurse for infusion specialties in Worcester, MA. This full-time role (32 hours/week, Mon–Fri, 8:00–5:00) supports outpatient cancer and non-oncology patients, including chemotherapy/biotherapy delivery and education.

You will monitor patient status, participate in interdisciplinary care, and ensure safety, documentation, and quality care across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Massachusetts; CPR/BLS certification.
• Infusion/IV experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and adjust nursing plans to optimize outcomes.
• Assess pain and educate patients and caregivers on pain management.
• Perform complete patient assessments per policy, including psychosocial needs.
• Coordinate discharge planning and education with patients and families.
• Ensure safe handling of antineoplastic therapies and accurate medication administration.
• Document all aspects of patient care in the EMR for quality and reimbursement.
