Job summary

CLS Health in the Houston area seeks a skilled Infusion Nurse to join our North Houston offices. You will administer IV therapies, biologics, and other infusions to patients in a safe, compassionate manner.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to travel between Woodlands and Huntsville two days per week to support multiple clinics.

Qualifications

• Active RN/LVN license in the relevant state.
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient infusion or specialty-care nursing.
• Experience with IV insertion and administration of IV meds.
• Rheumatology infusion experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.
• Travel between Woodlands and Huntsville two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients before, during, and after infusion therapy.
• Administer infusion medications per protocol.
• Verify orders, dosing, labs, allergies, and parameters.
• Maintain IV access and safe infusion techniques.
• Monitor for infusion reactions and adverse events.
• Educate patients on medications and expected effects.
• Coordinate care with rheumatologists, pharmacists, and staff.
• Review lab results and communicate concerns.
• Document care and patient responses in EMR.
• Maintain medication safety and infection prevention standards.
• Support efficient infusion center workflow.
• May travel between Woodlands and Huntsville offices as needed.
