Job summary

CLS Health seeks an Infusion Nurse to join our North Houston area clinic. The role administers IV therapies, maintains IV access, monitors patients, and provides education with a focus on safety and quality infusion care.

Ideal candidates hold a current RN or LVN license, have at least 2 years of outpatient infusion experience, and are proficient with EMR systems. Some travel between Woodlands and Huntsville offices is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LVN in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience in outpatient infusion or related setting.
• Strong IV therapy, assessment, and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients before, during, and after infusion therapy.
• Administer biologic, immunomodulatory, and other infusion medications per protocol.
• Verify orders, dosing, labs, allergies, and treatment parameters.
• Establish and maintain IV access; monitor for infusion reactions.
• Educate patients on medications, side effects, and care expectations.
• Coordinate with rheumatologists, APs, pharmacists, and care team.
• Document assessments and patient responses in the EMR.
• Ensure medication safety and infection control compliance.
• Support efficient infusion center workflow; travel between sites as needed.
