Job summary

BioCure is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for its neurology infusion suite. This part-time role focuses on IVIG therapy, patient comfort, and precise nursing care in a clinical infusion setting.

You will administer IVIG, establish IV access, monitor patients, and document care in the EMR. A strong emphasis on safety, communication with physicians, and maintaining a welcoming environment is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in AZ.
• At least five years of nursing experience; ICU/ED preferred.
• At least two years of infusion nursing experience.
• IVIG administration experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage patient care within the infusion suite.
• Prepare medications and administer IVIG infusions per orders and protocols.
• Initiate and maintain IV access.
• Safely administer IV infusion therapies.
• Monitor patients for infusions and react to adverse events.
• Document infusion details and vitals in EMR.
• Communicate with physician offices on care and updates.
• Monitor inventory and assist with scheduling and supplies.
• Maintain a calm, safe and professional infusion environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Registered Nurse – Neurology Infusion Suite (Part-Time)

Pay: $48.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Two days per week

BioCure is an Ambulatory Infusion Suite (AIS) management company that provides clinical oversight and nursing services for physician-based infusion centers. We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Registered Nurse to join our team at one of our neurology infusion suites, specializing in intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) therapy.

The ideal candidate has strong IV infusion skills, experience administering IVIG or other biologic therapies, and a passion for providing safe, personalized care while helping patients feel comfortable throughout their treatment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of patient care within the infusion suite.
• Prepare medications and administer IVIG infusions in accordance with physician orders, prescribed treatment plans, and established protocols.
• Initiate and maintain IV access.
• Safely and accurately administer IV infusion therapies.
• Monitor patients throughout infusions, assess for adverse reactions, and respond appropriately to treatment complications.
• Follow prescribed infusion rates, titration instructions, and patient monitoring requirements.
• Document infusion details, vital signs, patient responses, and any adverse events in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Communicate effectively with the physician’s office regarding patient care, treatment updates, and clinical concerns.
• Monitor inventory, manage supplies, and reorder as needed.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the infusion suite.
• Maintain a calm, welcoming, safe, and professional environment for patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where the infusion suite is located.
• At least five years of nursing experience; ICU or emergency department experience preferred.
• At least two years of infusion nursing experience.
• Previous IVIG administration experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
