Job summary

BioCure, LLC is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our neurology infusion suites at two Lake Mary, FL and Tavares, FL locations. This part-time role centers on overseeing patient care during IVIG infusions, maintaining infusion protocols, and ensuring a calm, professional environment for patients.

Ideal candidates will have a nursing degree, current RN license, at least five years’ nursing experience with infusion exposure, BLS certification, and strong IV access skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state where the infusion suite is located.
• At least five years of nursing experience; ICU or ED experience preferred.
• At least two years of infusion nursing experience.
• IVIG administration experience preferred; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care within the infusion suite.
• Prepare medications and administer IVIG infusions per physician orders and protocols.
• Initiate and maintain IV access.
• Administer IV infusion therapies safely and accurately.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond to complications.
• Document infusion details and vitals in EMR.
• Communicate with physician's office regarding patient care.
• Manage inventory and supplies for the infusion suite.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure smooth operations.

Job description

Registered Nurse – Neurology Infusion Suite (Part-Time)

Pay: $47.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Two - Three days per week (Two locations - Lake Mary, FL & Tavares, FL)
Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of patient care within the infusion suite.
• Prepare medications and administer IVIG infusions in accordance with physician orders, prescribed treatment plans, and established protocols.
• Initiate and maintain IV access.
• Safely and accurately administer IV infusion therapies.
• Monitor patients throughout infusions, assess for adverse reactions, and respond appropriately to treatment complications.
• Follow prescribed infusion rates, titration instructions, and patient monitoring requirements.
• Document infusion details, vital signs, patient responses, and any adverse events in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Communicate effectively with the physician’s office regarding patient care, treatment updates, and clinical concerns.
• Monitor inventory, manage supplies, and reorder as needed.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the infusion suite.
• Maintain a calm, welcoming, safe, and professional environment for patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where the infusion suite is located.
• At least five years of nursing experience; ICU or emergency department experience preferred.
• At least two years of infusion nursing experience.
• Previous IVIG administration experience preferred.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
