BrightStar Care Lansing, MI is seeking an Infusion Nurse to provide in-home infusion therapy and patient education on a part-time/per diem basis. Earn competitive pay with a flexible schedule while delivering care in patients' homes.

Responsibilities include IV therapy (IVIG/Remicade), IV access, central line maintenance, and care coordination with physicians and pharmacies. Requirements: MI RN license, CPR, home health experience; vaccination recommended but not required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current unrestricted RN license in Michigan and valid CPR.
• Prior home healthcare experience is required.
• Vaccination against COVID-19 is recommended but not mandated.
• Skills include IV starts/maintenance, IV infusion therapy, injection/self-infusion training, phlebotomy for adults/pediatrics, and CVAD knowledge.
• Reliable car and auto insurance required.
• Clean background and compliance with HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialty and core drug infusions during home visits (IVIG, Remicade).
• Perform IV placement and maintenance (Peripheral IV).
• Manage central lines and related care.
• Educate patients on injections, line maintenance, and self-infusion.
• Coordinate with physicians and pharmacies to ensure optimal patient care.
• Develop and maintain care plans.

• Compliance: Must adhere to regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and client confidentiality.
