Job summary

Novella Infusion Services is seeking a Per Diem Infusion Nurse to join a patient-centered team. Responsibilities include administering infusion therapy, establishing IV access, monitoring for reactions, and educating patients and caregivers.

The role emphasizes infection control, accurate documentation, and collaboration with physicians and staff. Location includes Warwick, East Providence, and Lincoln (MA options if dually licensed).

Qualifications

• RN license with current state许可.
• Minimum 1 year infusion/IV experience as an RN (infusion experience preferred).
• Ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff.
• Commitment to ongoing education and infection control practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Administer infusion therapy according to physician orders and protocols.
• Establish and maintain intravenous access with precision and care.
• Monitor patients for reactions, document progress, and update records promptly.
• Educate patients and caregivers about treatment plans, medications, and disease management.
• Adhere to infection control techniques and universal precautions to maintain safety.
• Manage and document refrigerator temperatures and daily logs.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and schedule therapy sessions for no-show patients.
• Notify physicians and regional directors of changes in patient conditions.
• Uphold professionalism in interactions with patients, families, and staff.
• Collect co-pays as required and ensure patient satisfaction surveys are completed.

Position Details

Location: Warwick, East Providence, and Lincoln - If dually licensed, Taunton and Fall River, MA

Schedule: Per Diem- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (no weekends) must have at least two days a week of availability

Key Responsibilities
