Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to support the clinical launch of its infusion centers. This part-time, in-person role (~8 hours/week) focuses on high-quality patient care and smooth launch operations in Overland Park, KS.

Ideal candidates bring NP licensure in Kansas, 2+ years in outpatient or infusion care, strong clinical judgment, and excellent communication. The role emphasizes patient safety, regulatory compliance, and patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Kansas.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient or infusion-based care.
• Strong clinical judgment, experience in IV therapy preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with patients across scheduling, symptoms, and inquiries.
• Coordinate with providers for order clarification and plan of care communication.
• Resolve clinical escalations, in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Prescribe select medications in accordance with patient needs and protocols.
• Onboard Medicare patients with establishment calls and documentation.
• Ensure clinical quality & compliance across region through chart auditing and oversight.
