Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or infusion suite, ensuring safety under a physician's plan. Works under supervision and participates in education of families and staff.

Requirements include an active RN license, CPR certification, and up-to-date computer skills; BSN preferred and infusion nursing experience encouraged. Travel up to 100% may be required with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Basic knowledge of computer operating systems and software applications.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and implements intermediate nursing plan of care.
• Performs treatments, administers medications, and educates patients and families.
• Coordinates discharge planning and prepares discharge summaries.
• Documents care in real-time for billing and compliance.
• Provides training and mentoring to other nurses as needed.
• Maintains HIPAA confidentiality and follows policy.
