Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse II in the Ambulatory Infusion Clinic to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care under a physician’s plan of care. The RN will work under structured supervision to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.

This role requires an active RN license, current CPR, and at least 1 year of nursing experience, with infusion nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Infusion nursing experience preferred (1-2 years).

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments, evaluating patient progress.
• Administers medications and educates patients and families/caregivers.
• Communicates with the clinical team, medical providers, patients, and families to facilitate continuity of care.
• Completes documentation and adheres to billing and record-keeping timelines.
• Supervises paraprofessionals when applicable and participates in on-call rotations.
