Job summary

Novella Infusion Services in Stamford, CT is seeking a compassionate Infusion Nurse for per diem shifts Wednesday or Thursday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. You will administer infusion therapy, establish IV access, monitor patients and document care while ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.

Qualifications

• RN license required and current state license.
• Minimum 1 year infusion/IV experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Administer infusion therapy according to physician orders and protocols.
• Establish and maintain intravenous access with precision and care.
• Monitor patients for reactions, document progress, and update records.
• Educate patients and caregivers about treatment plans and medications.
• Adhere to infection control techniques and universal precautions.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and schedule therapy sessions.
