• AHA BLS certification required before end of orientation
• BSN preferred for this role

Responsibilities

• Provides medications and fluids via intravenous injection.
• Prepares and mixes IV solutions as needed and monitors IV lines and arterial catheters.
• Monitors medication dosages and avoids potential drug complications.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and learning needs of patients and families.
