Job summary

Capital Health is a regional leader delivering progressive patient care. The RN-level position is full-time (1.0 FTE) with a pay range of $43.90–$59.69 per hour, and a 40-hour work week across nursing duties in our facilities.

Minimum requirements include an associate degree in nursing, RN licensure, and BLS; additional certifications (TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS, NRP, PALS) depending on unit. Benefits and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in nursing is preferred.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• TNCC and NIH Stroke Scale certifications (or obtain within specified timeframes) required depending on unit.
• ACLS, NRP and PALS certifications may be required depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care to patients as part of a nursing team.
• Assists with pain management and patient education.
• Performs discharge planning to support patient recovery at home.
• Ensures patient safety by following hospital policies and procedures.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and Joint Commission readiness.
