Job summary

Palmetto Infusion is seeking a Registered Nurse Clinician to provide medically prescribed infusion therapy to patients with acute and chronic conditions in ambulatory clinics. The role covers Daphne, AL and Pensacola, FL, with a PRN schedule and potential travel to nearby sites.

A nursing degree and active RN license are required, along with infusion experience and BLS certification. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, using the nursing process to care for patients, educate

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse license in state(s) of practice.
• 1 year of nursing experience in infusion therapy.
• BLS or obtain upon hire.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to cope with an ambigous, changing environment under pressure.
• Must work well in a team with Palmetto Infusion colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team in an ambulatory infusion clinic setting.
• Apply the nursing process to assess and care for patients.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care professionally, ethically and compassionately.
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease and medications.
• Comply with HIPAA and ACHC regulations.
• Participate in on-call rotation as assigned for AIC nurses.
• Travel to outlying clinics as needed.
• Maintain knowledge through educational in-services.
• Perform nursing duties per state act and company policies, including accessing central lines, obtaining labs, documenting care, and reporting adverse drug reactions.
