Job summary
Palmetto Infusion in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse Clinician to provide medically prescribed infusion therapy to patients with acute and chronic conditions. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with Saturdays as needed, and may involve travel to outlying clinics.
You will work within an interdisciplinary team in ambulatory infusion settings, using the nursing process to assess and care for patients, educate patients and caregivers, and ensure HIPAA and ACHC
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- 1 year of infusion nursing experience.
- BLS certification (or obtain upon hire).
- Proficient with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to work in a calm, team environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team in ambulatory infusion clinics.
- Assess and care for patients using the nursing process.
- Provide education to patients and caregivers about diseases and medications.
- Maintain HIPAA and ACHC compliance.
- Travel to outlying clinics as needed.
