Job summary

Palmetto Infusion seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Clinician to deliver prescribed infusion therapy for patients with acute and chronic conditions. The role supports ambulatory sites in Macon, GA, with potential float to other clinics as needed.

The position requires an active RN license, infusion-experience, and BLS. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with on-call rotation and travel as needed. The Palmetto Experience emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice.
• 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical specialty involving infusion therapy.
• BLS or obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team in an ambulatory infusion clinic setting.
• Effectively utilize the nursing process to assess and care for patients.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a professional, ethical, knowledgeable, and compassionate manner.
• Provide disease and drug-specific education to patients and caregivers.
• Comply with HIPAA and ACHC regulations.
• Participates in on-call rotation as assigned for AIC nurses.
• Travel to outlying clinics as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of medical/nursing practices by participating in educational in-services.
• Accurately perform nursing duties including accessing/maintaining central lines and PIVs; obtaining lab samples; collecting vital signs; administering IV and injectable medications; documenting care; reporting adverse drug reactions; assisting with administrative duties.
