Job summary

IVX Health in the San Mateo Infusion Center is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide direct patient care in an outpatient infusion setting. The role requires on-site work, with supervision during infusions and injections, patient assessments, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an NP license with RN licensure if required by state, board certification (AANP/ANCC), and BLS (PALS preferred).

Qualifications

• Active and Unrestricted NP license; RN license as required by state.
• Board Certification required (AANP or ANCC).
• BLS required; PALS preferred.
• Experience in ambulatory infusion center or outpatient clinic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and virtual supervision during infusions and injections.
• Conduct patient assessments and document SOAP notes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment expectations and side effects.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation in the EHR.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and coordinate care.
• Assist in inventory, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
• Flexibility to work at multiple facilities within the market.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
