Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support infusion areas within a busy cancer practice. The role requires floating to various Infusion units across multiple locations and assisting with patient care and laboratory procedures under supervision.

Flexibility to work in evenings, weekends and holidays is required. A MA certificate or relevant degree and at least 2 years of hospital/clinic experience are preferred, with bilingual abilities a plus.

Qualifications

• Orientation to all UCSF Medical Center locations and flexibility to work across sites.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both in person and over the phone.
• Must meet physical requirements to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of care to patients in multiple Cancer Center ambulatory practices.
• Perform patient care and laboratory procedures to support specialty care services.
• Learn and assist in all Cancer Center specialty practices as needed.
• Adhere to Telephone and House Standards as adopted by the Medical Center.
