Always Compassionate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for field infusion visits across the Lower Hudson Valley. The role involves initiating infusion care, performing follow-ups, and mentoring new staff in a home-based setting.

Requirements include NYS RN license, BLS (ACLS preferred), and at least 3 years in home infusion. Valid imaging and vaccines may be needed for compliance, with travel between cases. A strong patient-education focus is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of full-time RN experience in home care infusion or similar setting.
• Supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.
• Infusion IV/SQIG and biologic medications experience is required.

Responsabilités

We are seeking to hire Registered Nurses whose direct support, knowledge, skills, and expertise will enable our company to grow, adapt, and expand into new areas of home-based nursing services. This infusion field nurse would be responsible for conducting patient visits to initiate patient care, performing follow-up visits as needed, and precepting and evaluating the skills of newly hired nurses as requested. The Home Infusion Nurse will partner with our Infusion Intake Team to ensure seamless initiation of infusion care in patients' homes.Qualifications:Applicants must have at least 3 years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience as a registered nurse in a home care infusion company, hospital, clinic, or medical facilitySupervisory or managerial experience PREFERRED.Infusion experience is REQUIRED. MUST have experience infusion IV/SQIG and biologic medications!Knowledge of principles & practices of supervision, performance evaluation, and education.Knowledge of Federal HIPAA RegulationsKnowledge of standard nursing policies, procedures, methods, and techniques.Ability to read and interpret clinical documents, including physicians' orders and treatment plans.Ability to participate in a multi-disciplinary health care team.Job Requirements:NYS Registered Nursing License and Registration CertificateBLS necessary/ACLS preferredUp-to-date medical, inclusive of Physical, TB Clearance/QuantiFERON Gold blood test, 2-step PPD or T-Spot, or Chest X-ray and Habituation StatementMMR-Varicella Titers Lab Report or Vaccination RecordsTDAP Vaccine - Hep B Vaccination Series, Titers OR DeclinationUrine Drug Screen (UDS) - within the last 2 months is acceptable.Flu Vaccination (if applicable) or DeclinationTwo (2) forms of government-approved ID to validate employment eligibilityTwo (2) satisfactory professional referencesMalpractice InsuranceReliable transportationRegistered Nurse Responsibilities:Comprehensive nursing assessment skillsPIV, PICC, Mid & Central line care, and access competenceImplanted port access (MediPort, PermaCath, etc.) competence is a plus!Educate the patient and/or family in therapy administration via IVInfusion therapy preparation and administrationPatient safety, monitoring, and post-infusion follow-upCommunication with patients, families, infusion pharmacy, and medical providers as necessaryA successful infusion field nurse will collaborate with the infusion manager, coordinators, and other internal office staff. They will conduct on-site field visits to provide patient care and supervise the competence of nursing staff upon request. They must be able to multitask and prioritize work responsibilities and duties. Time management skills are essential to the success of this role.
