Job summary

Always Compassionate Health seeks a Registered Nurse for home infusion field care, covering the Lower Hudson Valley. You'll initiate infusion care, perform follow-up visits, and precept new nurses, partnering with the Infusion Intake Team for seamless patient onboarding.

The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of RN experience in infusion, with strong knowledge of IV/SQIG infusions, HIPAA, and clinical documentation in a home-care setting.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of full-time RN experience in home care infusion or equivalent.
• Infusion experience is REQUIRED.
• MUST have infusion IV/SQIG and biologic meds experience.
• NYS Registered Nursing License and Registration Certificate.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Two forms of government-issued ID to verify eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient visits to initiate care and follow-ups.
• Provide PIV, PICC, and central line care as needed.
• Educate patients/families on infusion therapy administration.
• Monitor safety and perform post-infusion follow-up.
• Collaborate with infusion manager, coordinators, and staff.
