Job summary

The Omnicare field team seeks a Clinical Nurse for LTC to provide consultative support to SNF and ALF facilities. This role covers WA, OR, ID, and Northern CA, with travel up to four nights per week to ensure execution of nursing reviews.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current license in state of employment and multi-state licensure as needed.
• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience including direct patient care and education.
• Minimum 3 years of infusion therapy experience and ability to travel up to 80%.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and related Web apps.

Responsibilities

• Build strong client relationships by delivering interactions that develop trust and show value.
• Evaluate regulatory compliance and identify clinical education needs for pharmacy services.
• Conduct QA audits to aid facilities in regulatory surveys and observe medication practices.
• Identify deficiencies and opportunities in drug inventories, storage and distribution.
• Provide ongoing clinical training to facility staff in small groups.
• Promote infusion education programs to LTC facility nursing staff.
• Provide customer support information for all infusion therapies.
• Manage resolution of client issues and requests.
• Assist with onboarding new facilities to pharmacy processes.
• Operate with strong business acumen and knowledge of industry trends.
• Provide Med Tech education to assisted living facilities as needed.
