Job summary

Northwest Community Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Infusion Clinic in Arlington Heights, IL. This part-time role offers 24 hours per week with hours Monday through Friday, 8am–4:30pm, and rotating weekends/holidays.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's in Nursing, have 1 year oncology/infusion nursing experience, and hold AHA-BLS/CPR certification with IL RN licensure. Expect collaboration with physicians and a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• 1 year oncology/infusion nursing experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR (American Heart Association) required.
• Current State of Illinois RN Licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care and evaluates patient progress toward outcomes.
• Performs patient assessment and collects health data.
• Communicates plan of care to patient, family, and care team; documents data.
• Provides patient teaching tailored to learning needs and cultural background.
• Interacts with peers and supports professional development; delegates tasks as needed.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations and protects patient privacy.
• Assist in transporting acutely ill patients and support infusion procedures.
