LUX Infusion in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced Ambulatory Infusion Clinic Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered infusion care.

Based on-site at the Chicago, IL Ambulatory Infusion Clinic (AIC), the role supports other care settings as needed. The ideal candidate has a valid RN license in the state, a nursing degree, IV certification, and 2+ years of RN experience in home infusion, critical care, ED, or similar settings. Part-time options are available.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• IV certification and experience with central line management.
• 2+ years RN experience (home infusion, critical care, ED, or similar preferred).
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel locally to support patients.
• Bachelor’s degree, PICC/Port/Midline certification, and multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Insert, monitor, and discontinue IVs, including central line (PICC/port/midline) care.
• Administer infusion therapies, medications, and blood products as prescribed.
• Monitor patient response, obtain vital signs, and perform assessments.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and IV care.
• Perform venous phlebotomy as needed.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and nursing notes.
• Coordinate schedules and communicate with patients, families, providers, and care teams.
• Maintain compliance with safety, ethical, and regulatory standards.
