Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and manage patient care across a clinical area, applying the nursing process from assessment to evaluation. You will interact with patients, families, and the health team while maintaining professional standards.

The role requires an Alabama RN license (Bachelor's preferred for some units) and CPR; ACLS is required or obtainable within specified timelines. PALS is preferred for TKC areas.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Alabama.
• CPR certification required or within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required or within 6 months for TKC areas and within 1 month for Hospital locations.
• PALS preferred for TKC per AHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Interact effectively with patients, families, and health-care team.
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care within professional standards.
