Job summary

Wayne Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Infusion Clinic to provide general nursing care under the direction of physicians.

The role involves assessing patients' vital signs, preparing patients for exams, assisting with treatments, performing venipunctures and IV therapy, and documenting care in the EMR.

Candidates must have an Associate Degree in Nursing, Michigan RN license, BLS and 8–10 years of ambulatory care experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current Michigan RN License.
• Current BLS Certification.
• 8–10 years’ RN experience preferred, ambulatory care welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document vital signs; alert physicians of abnormalities.
• Assist with specimen collection, tests, procedures; prepare patients for exams.
• Assist physicians with treatments, procedures and surgeries.
• Perform venipunctures, IV therapies and injections as ordered.
• Document care in EMR and coordinate test results and discharge instructions.
