Job summary

IVCare Infusion seeks a Nurse Practitioner to oversee IV infusion therapy and injectable treatments in an outpatient setting. You will perform comprehensive assessments, administer infusions per protocol, and document encounters in the EHR with SOAP notes.

The role combines clinical autonomy with teamwork to support patients with chronic conditions and wellness needs. Ideal candidates have strong IV skills, enjoy collaboration with RN and front office teams, and can educate patients on treatment

Qualifications

• Excellent IV skills and IV experience mandatory.
• Assess and document patient history, vital signs, and medications.
• Perform IV/injectable therapies per orders and standing protocols.
• Document encounters in the EHR using SOAP notes and maintain records.
• Collaborate with RN, front office, and providers to coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Excellent IV skills and IV experience is mandatory.
• Perform IV insertion and administration of IV/injectable therapies per standing orders
• Conduct intake assessments: vital signs, medication reconciliation, and medical history
• Prepare patients for infusion or injection, ensuring safety and comfort
• Deliver biologic and non-biologic infusions per protocols
• Monitor patients during treatment and respond to adverse events
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment expectations, and side effects
• Provide post-infusion instructions and follow-up care planning
• Document patient encounters using EHR and SOAP notes
• Create, evaluate, and modify treatment plans as needed
• Maintain medical records; support audits and regulatory initiatives
• Coordinate with front office, RN, and marketing teams; engage referring providers
• Assist in supply management and maintain a safe environment
• Contribute to annual reviews and skill assessments
