Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks an Oncology Infusion Scheduler to provide scheduling coordination and essential clerical support in the infusion unit. You will assist with triage, measure vitals, and enter data into patient records, ensuring efficient patient flow and care.

Minimum education includes a high school diploma and accredited medical assisting training, with CMA/RMA/CCMA and BLS certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with 1 year patient care experience preferred.
• Certification: CMA/RMA/CCMA or similar per AMT/AAMA/NAHP/NCCT; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling activities and clinical support in the oncology infusion unit.
• Escort and triage patients; measure vitals and update medical records.
• Prepare treatment rooms and support patient needs (blankets, ambulatory aid, nutrition).
• Contribute to clinic operations and revenue cycle.
