Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant for per diem daytime coverage at the Infusion Center. You will support nurses and physicians, assist with daily patient activities, transport patients, and help maintain a safe, compassionate care environment in Morristown, NJ.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED. Preferred qualifications include 1 year of acute care nursing assistant experience, BLS certification, and CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Supports nursing personnel in providing direct patient care and assists patients with daily activities.
• Serves and collects food trays and provides between-meal nourishment.
• Changes bed linen, runs errands and prepares and sterilizes treatment trays and supplies.
• Transports patients within the facility for consultations, treatments, tests, or examinations.
• Measures and records patients' vital signs such as temperature or pulse and provides basic treatment.
• Ensures a safe care environment for the patients and their families.
• Performs continuous rounds and check-ins throughout the shift to ensure patient and family needs are met.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
