UVA Health in Lynchburg, VA, invites experienced infusion nurses to join as Assistant Nurse Manager, launching UVA Cancer Care Lynchburg. You will blend hands-on patient care with operational leadership to build a brand-new oncology infusion program from the ground up.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, four 10-hour shifts, and a unique opportunity to mentor staff while shaping workflows, quality metrics, and patient outcomes across Central Virginia’s expanding cancer services.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• 2+ years RN experience; Oncology Infusion experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as working leader, balancing direct patient care and charge nurse duties.
• Provide direct infusion center patient care while overseeing operations.
• Assist with onboarding, coaching, and development of nursing staff.
• Develop workflows and processes for a brand-new cancer care location.
• Collaborate with UVA Cancer Care leaders across multiple sites.
