Job summary

Harris Health System, Inc. seeks an Infusion Center Nurse (ICN) to provide safe infusion therapy, starting and maintaining IV lines and administering medications and fluids. You will collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

This role supports patients with chronic illness, integrating technical skill with compassionate care across the treatment continuum, from diagnosis through survivorship to end-of-life considerations.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Licensed to practice professional nursing in Texas; relevant specialty certification required within two years of employment.
• Work Experience: Three (3) years of nursing experience in related specialty area.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Harris Health system Software, clinical care guidelines, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• The Infusion Center Nurse (ICN) provides safe and competent infusion therapy including initiation and maintenance of intravenous lines and administration of medications and fluids.
• Works with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Integrates technical skills, scientific knowledge, and compassionate attitude to aid patients with chronic illness throughout diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
