Elevance Health in Austin seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver infusion-center care at Paragon Infusion Centers, PRN schedule, 1-2 shifts weekly.

Role requires in-person availability at the posted location, valid NP license, and FNP certification; multi-state licensure may be needed for cross-state work. Travel to work sites may be extensive.

We emphasize collaboration, HIPAA compliance, and quality improvement; coverage for PTO/LOA may be required and vaccine policies apply by law.

Qualifications

• MS in Nursing and minimum 2 years of nursing experience or equivalent background.
• Active, valid NP license to practice in the applicable state.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner Certification required.
• Multi-state licensure required if providing services in multiple states.

Responsabilités

• Administers ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards and company policy and procedures.
• Completes admission process as directed by Center Director.
• Performs physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults as warranted by the patient diagnosis.
• Documents all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record.
• Reports all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and follows up as needed.
• Communicates effectively with IV team members on patient status and observations.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA laws and regulations.
• Evaluates patient response to therapy and documents findings.
