Job summary

Stanford Health Care in California is seeking an Assistant Patient Care Manager to support the Patient Care Manager with clinical and administrative leadership on a designated unit. You will supervise staff, coordinate shift operations, promote safe, evidence-based nursing care, and ensure alignment with policies and standards.

The role requires a BSN, 2 years of related experience, including 1 year in Ambulatory Oncology/Hematology Infusion, plus California RN license, BLS, and ONS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
• 1 year of Ambulatory Oncology/Hematology Infusion experience, required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in operational aspects of a designated unit and mentors staff.
• Supervises quality, therapeutic and cost-effective patient care.
• Coordinates unit patient care operations for assigned shifts.
• Facilitates orientation, training and staff development; coaching and corrective action as needed.
• Supports continuous quality and risk management programs at unit level.
