Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Infrastructure/Network Project Manager with over 10 years of experience to lead data center, digital workplace, lifecycle management, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migrations. Must be local to the Chicagoland area and open to going onsite, with a hybrid work model in Chicago, IL.

The role demands expert project leadership, governance, risk management, and clear stakeholder communications to ensure project objectives are achieved within scope, schedule, and budget.

Description

Our customer is looking for an Infrastructure/Network Project Manager with over 10 years of experience to join their team. We need a PM who has experience managing projects including data center, digital workplace, lifecycle management, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migrations.

***Must be local to the Chicagoland area and open to going onsite***

Project Manager will be responsible for the following:

1. Deliver project objective and benefits providing required oversight to ensure control of scope, schedule, resources and cost.
2. Provide structured project management leadership by establishing governance, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities for all project team members, defining phases, and identifying deliverables/milestones.
3. Develop project plans, provide executional leadership, and track progress on project goals.
4. Identify and manage areas of risk and dependencies including contingency planning and developing project health restoration plans.
5. Ensure adherence to project standards, IT controls, risk and regulatory requirements.
6. Provide timely communications on project status and health including scope, schedule, resource, and/or budget as well as articulate key risks/issues and associated impacts.
7. Manage stakeholder expectations and motivate project team.
8. Escalate in a timely manner to the appropriate party(ies) to address decisions needed, the removal of road blocks and other obstacles or constraints.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
