Job summary

DXC Technology in Charleston, SC is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and mixed Windows/Linux platforms. You will oversee patching, vulnerability remediation, and cloud integration in a hybrid setup while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

You will work hands-on, mentor others, and help drive mid-level infrastructure projects and security improvements in a dynamic enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server 2019 or newer.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Active Directory administration and architecture.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL & Ubuntu) administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with enterprise patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Familiarity with Ivanti and Rapid7, or comparable platforms.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and services in hybrid environments.
• Strong Excel skills for data tracking and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server 2019 and newer environments.
• Perform hands-on Windows Server administration including OS configuration, services, networking, and performance.
• Administer Active Directory: users, GPOs, OUs, domain/trusts, DC promotion/demotion.
• Design and implement new Active Directory environments.
• Support RHEL and Ubuntu environments including core OS administration and scripting.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across Windows, Linux, AD, networking, and OS components.
• Maintain infrastructure hosted in AWS and hybrid environments.
• Manage OS patching activities with enterprise tools and perform vulnerability remediation.
