Infrastructure Systems Engineer

The Technical Solutions Delivery team is responsible for end-to-end delivery of infrastructure solutions to our customers. Deliver of the infrastructure solution requires a variety of skills including infrastructure architecture, hands-on buildout and configuration of the infrastructure, installation and configuration of the application, as well as project technical leadership skills to ensure projects are delivered within scope and on-time. A high degree of collaboration with developers, third party vendors, database engineers, and other infrastructure teams is required to provide the right level of agility within a defined delivery process.

• Lead cross-functional project teams to design and implement highly available multi-tier Windows or Cloud applications.
• Collaborate across business and technical disciplines to develop Infrastructure / System Engineering Designs for internally hosted solutions.
• Implement solutions by writing automation processes to deploy systems, applications, containers, surrounding technologies.
• Be the primary infrastructure interface for business unit and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Technical leadership for project assignments.
• Document the technical design for Project and Operations teams as part of project deliverables.
• Experience utilizing a consultative approach while interacting with customers and appropriate representatives to analyze, validate, specify, verify, document, and manage the requirements.
• Current enterprise-class infrastructure and system engineering experience with Windows/SQL and cloud-based platforms.
• Experience with automated systems builds and configuration management tools including VRO, Terraform, SCCM, SCO, etc.
• Working knowledge of networking protocols and components.
• Experience designing and implementing High Availability, Active/Active, and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Ability to produce high quality operational documentation, including Visio diagrams, high-level descriptions of the environment, as well as detailed instructions outlining the steps required to repeat the build-out and configuration of the infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code deployments, CI/CD, etc.
• Strong customer service skills with a high level of professionalism and the ability to work with complex designs and situations.
• Proven ability to collaborate remotely.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent degree is desirable.
