MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. in Nebraska is seeking an Infrastructure Systems Administrator to oversee Windows and Linux servers, backups, SolarWinds, Hyper-V, and Azure.
You will monitor, patch, and keep systems secure while supporting internal clients and maintaining documentation for the team. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree plus four years of experience, familiarity with CMDBs, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Salary: $40.11 - $55.15 - $70.19

Summary: The Infrastructure Systems Administrator position is responsible for infrastructure support and oversees overall operations of the systems and services. The Systems Administrators work under general supervision from the Manager, Information Technology.
This internal client‑facing position requires excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills (listening, verbal and written). Must manage difficult or emotional client situations, respond promptly to client needs, solicit client feedback to improve service, respond to requests for service and assistance from clients, and meet commitments to clients.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field along with four years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Microsoft/Linux Systems Administration certifications would be considered a bonus.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. Occasional standing; walking; reaching with hands and arms and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Noise level is usually moderate.
This position is based on‑site for purposes of providing adequate support to internal clients; being available for face‑to‑face interactions and coordination of work with other employees, colleagues, clients, or vendors; as well as for facilitation of quick and effective decisions through collaboration with stakeholders. Remote work is an option in certain situations.
This is a non‑exempt level position requiring flexibility to work beyond traditional hours and be able to work nights, weekends, on‑call or on holidays as required. Work shifts are typically normal core business hours of Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, except when maintenance is performed during non‑peak after hours.
This position may require local travel.
