Job summary

IBM Software Developer Intern in Tucson, AZ will design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-class software solutions powering IBM infrastructure offerings, including hybrid cloud, storage, data protection, automation, security, and systems management products.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable software, while contributing to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern software engineering methods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages listed above.
• Understanding of OOP, data structures, and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions.
• Participate in full SDLC including requirements, design, and testing.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, and Ops teams.
• Develop scalable services, APIs, and backend components.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
