Job summary

A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and 10 years of civil experience, including 5 years in supervision, are required. Strong leadership, budget oversight, and communication with officials are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field with ten years of professional civil experience, including five years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in design and construction of bridges, structures, and roads, with diverse operations or multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises department employees, including assigning and reviewing work and performance evaluations.
• Plans, directs and coordinates road and bridge projects and programs; develops paving programs.
• Coordinates with funding agencies and other departments for project delivery and compliance.
• Ensures adherence to statutory requirements and engineering standards; prepares reports and manages budgets.
