Job summary

The Kresge Foundation is seeking an Infrastructure Security and Systems Administrator to protect and maintain its technology environment. The role partners with MSP and cybersecurity leadership to reduce vulnerabilities and respond to incidents, ensuring network and Azure-based infrastructure reliability.

Responsibilities include vulnerability management, incident response, and infrastructure administration, with a hybrid on-site schedule in Troy, Michigan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of IT infrastructure administration experience.
• Minimum 2 years in IT security roles.
• Knowledge of Azure/Entra services and cloud networking.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Protect and maintain the organization’s technology environment.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents.
• Collaborate with MSP and cybersecurity leadership to reduce attack surface.
• Plan and implement cybersecurity initiatives and infrastructure improvements.
• Support vulnerability management and incident response processes.
• Maintain documentation, policies, and procedures.
