Job summary

Chainlink Labs is seeking an Infrastructure Security Manager to establish and scale the security foundations that protect Chainlink’s infrastructure, cloud environments, and decentralized network. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, building secure infrastructure standards while enabling engineering teams to deliver quickly through automated, secure-by-default platforms.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Terraform production experience for cloud security with complex IAM, EKS, and VPC.
• Proven success leading a small engineering team while delivering technical projects.
• Built infrastructure hardening and IAM standards from scratch in undefined security teams.
• Experience designing secure infra with IaC and GitOps in production cloud environments.
• Able to embed security into development workflows rather than acting as gatekeeper.

Responsibilities

• Build and standardize secure infrastructure patterns across AWS and GCP.
• Establish unified IAM and centralized secrets management to reduce risk.
• Deliver secure Terraform and GitOps workflows for secure deployments.
• Automate infrastructure compliance, logging, and security controls for SOC 2 Type 2.
• Reduce blast radius by strengthening security boundaries across distributed systems.
• Evolve Infrastructure Security into an engineering-enabled capability to accelerate delivery.
