Job summary

Wallick is seeking an Infrastructure, Security & Operations Architect to join its Power & Protect pillar in New Albany, Ohio. You will bridge enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, and daily operations, shaping the network, cloud, identity, and security controls across communities and the corporate office.

This hands-on role requires producing production-ready designs, leading major changes, and mentoring teams while traveling to Wallick communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field; equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years across infrastructure and security engineering with incident response experience.
• Fluency in both infrastructure and security with multi-site network and cloud experience.
• Experience with enterprise networking, firewalls, hybrid data centers, and cloud platforms.
• Strong writing and design skills for standards, diagrams, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, standards, and the roadmap for primary domains.
• Design and deliver major initiatives (Azure migration, hybrid env, firewall standards).
• Lead incident response and on-call escalations in your domain.
• Develop procedures, patterns, and training to move work closer to the front line.
