Job summary

Xlysi LLC is seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure Project/Program Manager in Chicago to lead end-to-end migration initiatives across hardware, servers, applications, and data centers. You will plan, coordinate, and execute complex multi-team projects, ensuring minimal business disruption, strong governance, and timely delivery.

The role requires 8+ years of migration experience, excellent stakeholder communication, and familiarity with hybrid/mixed methodologies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Project/Program Management.
• Strong experience managing infrastructure migration projects.
• Hands-on PM experience with Printer/Hardware migrations, A/V equipment migrations, Server migrations, Application migrations, Data center/infrastructure relocation.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience managing multiple technical teams and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, RAID management, change management, cutover and deployment processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile/Waterfall or hybrid project methodologies.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Infrastructure migration projects from planning through execution and closure.
• Manage Hardware migration initiatives including Printers, A/V equipment, end-user devices, and related infrastructure.
• Drive Server and Application migration projects across data centers, cloud, or enterprise environments.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Server, Network, Application, Security, Desktop, and Vendor teams.
• Manage migration waves, cutover planning, testing, implementation, and post-migration stabilization.
• Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Conduct project status meetings and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
• Manage third-party vendors and ensure delivery against project timelines and SLAs.
• Coordinate UAT, validation, rollback planning, and go-live activities.
• Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, status reports, and governance artifacts.
• Ensure migrations are completed with minimal business disruption.

• Strong experience with MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar PM tools.
