Job summary

SCD Information Technology is seeking a skilled Project Manager for the Infrastructure Division in Columbia, MD. The PM will oversee designated projects, define goals and timelines, coordinate tasks, and provide guidance to the project team while monitoring budget, timeline, and resources.

Regular progress reporting to the Director is expected. Key duties include assigning resources, developing plans, tracking hours and material, managing changes, and participating in client meetings to gather

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial low voltage infrastructure experience.
• 4+ years experience in tracking budget expenses, development, planning, forecasting, performance management, and job costing or inventory control.
• Ability to translate project requirements into execution strategy and assign resources.
• Strong budget forecasting and financial management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for reporting and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Assign resources and personnel to projects and monitor progress.
• Develop project plans and resolve issues to reach project goals.
• Manage project budget to meet revenue, cost, and profit targets.
• Capture change orders and coordinate with site leads on changes.
• Participate in client meetings and develop requirements and specifications.
• Present employee evaluation criteria and provide feedback for improvement.
• Perform quality assurance of jobsites to ensure schedule compliance and safety.
