Job summary

Raba Kistner, Inc. in Columbia, SC is seeking a dependable Project Manager I, II, or III to join our Infrastructure team.

Under close supervision, the project manager leads construction inspection and material testing to ensure compliance with approved plans, drawings, and specifications. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, coordinating testing activities, overseeing administrative functions, reviewing payment applications, and communicating with contractor leaders on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field from ABET accredited institution.
• P.E. license in applicable state or obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license and insurability requirements.
• 4+ years in transportation engineering with 2+ years in construction management.
• 5–10 years in transportation engineering with 5 years in construction management.
• 3+ years of related management experience.
• 10–15 years in transportation engineering with 7+ years in construction management.
• 7+ years related management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate construction inspection activities and material testing.
• Oversee administrative and business operations including HR, training, inventory, safety and budgets.
• Review and approve applications for payment.
• Meet with project leaders on sites to coordinate testing and inspections.
• Review plans, specifications and shop drawings for activities.
• Maintain testing/inspection reports daily per Quality Plan.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and take preventive actions.
• Maintain licenses and certifications as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
