Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of project management experience in construction.
• Strong industry experience in heavy civil projects.
• Experience with PM software tools listed.
• Ability to break down construction operations into a logical sequence of activities.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Monitor and engage field operations to ensure safety practices are followed.
• Contractual management: Enforce requirements and participate in negotiations to keep the project on track.
• Manage relationships: Build and maintain relationships with project team, trade partners, design professionals, inspectors, and client representatives.
• Planning and executing the work: Develop work plans and ensure resources are engaged timely for efficient operations.
• Management of suppliers and trade partners: Lead engagement including solicitation, contracting, onboarding, management, and closeout.
• Document & project controls: Implement secure document control and project controls per requirements.
• Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and communicate the project schedule with stakeholders.
• Risk management: Mitigate risks and escalate concerns proactively.
• Quality management: Lead quality control and kickoff meetings; ensure compliance with plans and specs.
