Role Overview

Infrastructure Project Manager partners with engineering teams across Global Infrastructure to deliver complex technical initiatives. This role requires genuine technical fluency across infrastructure domains and the ability to engage credibly with engineers on architecture decisions, deployment strategies, and operational tradeoffs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering teams through the full project lifecycle, from requirements through production deployment and post‑implementation review.
  • Build and maintain roadmaps that connect technical execution to business priorities.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional activities including migrations, deployments, and production changes.
  • Serve as primary point of coordination across infrastructure engineering teams and interface with all departments at Cboe Global Markets during enterprise‑level projects and programs.
  • Communicate project status clearly and accurately to stakeholders at all levels and escalates issues appropriately when project health requires intervention.
  • Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and assess the impact of changes across interconnected systems and environments to generate mitigation plans when necessary.
  • Document lessons learned and apply them to improve project outcomes.
Qualifications
  • 3–7 years of project management experience in technology or infrastructure environments, with a track record leading engineering teams through complex technical projects.
  • Hands‑on experience with infrastructure domains such as network engineering, data center operations, systems administration, or enterprise platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical status for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools – Atlassian and Microsoft Suites, AI Tools.
  • Experience operating within a structured project management organization with defined processes.
  • Preferred: Project Management Professional certification (PMP).
  • Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
  • Experience with data center migration or infrastructure buildout projects.

Salary

Base salary ranges: $102,000–$132,000 in Kansas; $112,200–$145,200 in Chicago; $127,500–$165,000 in New York. Base salary determined by skills, experience, location. Eligible for annual incentive compensation and long‑term equity programs.
