Job summary

TEKsystems in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead enterprise technology initiatives, including cloud migrations, data center modernization, and network upgrades. You’ll drive execution from planning through implementation while coordinating cross-functional technical teams and business stakeholders.

The role is a contract position based out of Charlotte, NC with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience delivering infrastructure initiatives.
• Experience leading cloud migrations, data center projects, network transformations, or upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, networking, servers, storage, virtualization, and IT ops.
• Experience with PM tools such as MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; PMP certification preferred.
• W2 only; onsite 3 days a week in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end infrastructure project delivery (scope, schedule, budget, risks, resources).
• Lead cloud, networking, servers, storage, virtualization, and workplace tech initiatives.
• Coordinate with engineering, security, operations, vendors, and business teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Track financials, dependencies, risks, and executive-level reporting.
• Facilitate governance meetings and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with business goals.
